ATTENDANCE AT THE LAST MEETING: 52
Next Meeting:-
14 August 08 at 7:00 PM. "
Program/class- "Digital Painting" with Fran Wehner
Fran will teach you to create beautiful original artwork in the styles of watercolors, acrylics, oils, and pencil sketches. She’ll show you how to start with a photograph and then use a combination of Painter, Photoshop, and traditional hand-held artist’s brushes and materials to produce “paintings” that others will covet as art. She will show you the origins in hand-painting of many modern digital techniques, giving you a greater understanding of the purpose and capabilities of the digital tools. Examples can be seen at: www.PhotosByFran.com . Click on gallery.
The Creativity Challenge for this month is "SUMMER"
The Creativity Challenge Winner for July is Hollie Hewes. The challenge theme was "GREEN".

Member Volunteers needed: Contact Clem Wehner for more info:
1. Make presentations to clubs, civic groups, schools, churches, etc. You can use the pre-prepared presentation "Tips for Taking Great Photos". Contact Clem for volunteering or checking out the presentation and equipment. Public outreach programs are one of the most important things we do. We need YOU to help.
Public Outreach Activities: If you made a presentation, displayed your photographs anywhere, helped out in the community using your photographic skills, or anything similar, let Clem know. We need to document all our activities for our Arts for All sponsors, and we'll put your accomplishments on this website on the "Volunteers" page.
Remember, volunteering is the price we all pay to enjoy the benefits of WWPS, so please pitch in and help.
